Kristy A. Clark
Chief Engineer of Vencore
Kristy A. Clark is a 1995 graduate of Prince George High School and went on to receive a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech) in December 1999. She currently works for Vencore, Inc., previously a division of Lockheed Martin Corporation – a top defense contracting company.
For over eighteen years, Kristy has worked on a variety of assignments and projects with increasing levels of responsibility and visibility, applying full spectrum lifecycle engineering process knowledge to the development of total system solutions. She has had the opportunity to serve in multiple leadership roles, working with diverse team members to enhance their work products as well as aiding in career development and professional growth. Kristy has recently served as Deputy Program Manager and Program Manager, respectively, for three programs providing systems engineering services and technical support to government customers. She is currently the Chief Engineer for a systems integration program, with responsibility for the program’s overall technical direction and the integrity of projects and customer deliverables.
Kristy has received numerous awards and commendations for individual and team accomplishments during her tenure, as recently as December 2017. In 2016, she received two customer awards honoring her commitment to and leadership in intelligence community integration activities. Kristy was also named a 2013 recipient of her company’s Lead with Integrity award.
In addition to maintaining full-time employment, Kristy completed a Master of Science degree in Engineering Management from The George Washington University in May 2011. She currently serves as Secretary for the Sherbrooke II Condominium Board of Directors and recently became a member of the National Council of Negro Women.
